Summer EAIA-West Tool Meeting
July 22-23, 1978
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Because the first EAIA-West meeting was held at Arnold Gordon's home, the 10th anniversary was held there again to celebrate the occasion. A series of demos by professional craftsmen and EAIA-West members was planned for the two day event.

"EAIA-West membership has increased at each of our tool meetings. Some of our early founders have dropped out citing that tool many meetings are being held too far away from Los Angeles.

In organizing and selecting the name, we never intended EAIA-West to be just a local group. Invitations went to prospective members in the seven Western States and we now have members in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Idaho. In California our members come from as far south as El Centro and San Diego, and as far north as Auburn. Many areas in between are well represented also.

The hope is that EAIA-West will continue to grow, even faster than before, but never become too big to properly welcome each and every new member."
