This was my first time attending the San Diego meet at the Four Points Sheraton. Due to conflicts with my wife's work schedule, I was not present for the parking lot sale on Thursday. (Anyone who would like to contribute pictures from that day's activities, feel free to e-mail them to me.) However, I was present all day Friday and Saturday, the latter being mostly devoted to the auction (nearly 500 items!). This is traditionally our biggest show of the year, and there were many opportunities to view, purchase, or just learn about old tools. Also, it was 70 degrees in San Diego in January, so there was no problem attracting attendees from the colder parts of the country. This was a great meeting, so thanks to Al Bennett for putting it together.
