Bob Valich did his usual great job in putting together this meeting. The tool room was open on Friday evening and most of the day Saturday. Friday night included the traditional BBQ meal.Saturday events included breakfast, awards for best displays during lunch, a door prize (Lie-Nielsen #97 chisel plane) giveaway, and the traditional after-lunch auction. This was the largest event we have ever held in Sonoma. Unlike previous years, there was no room for the display tables in the main room as the dealer tables filled it. Dealer tables had to be restricted due to fire regulations, so getting table requests in early has become a "must." The display tables were in the "lunch room" this year, and were also in great demand. We are seeing a great deal of interest in this event, and it is becoming very popular.
Ted Warren was busy taking photographs of the displays (happy to not see you fall off that chair, Ted) and I expect we will see some nice pictures in the next issue of ToolTalk. Meanwhile, here are some photos I took during the meet.

This was the first time the door prize was won by a

After lunch, there was time to preview the auction offerings...

Schoenky, and David Switzer (partially hidden behind Jim) got to work.
